I found out (on FB-thanks, Susan) that Haitians wear a red flower to honor their mother if she is living and either purple or white to honor a mother that has passed. What a special way you honor moms! Love the tradition.
I am beginning to realize spring will be a busy season full of celebrations. Some Haitian Holidays and my family has a lot of spring birthdays as well.
