ADOPTION PROCESS UPDATE:
I am hoping to exit my current step this week or next week. The next step is called MOI, which is when Kimberlie will get her Haitian passport.
I am hoping to exit my current step this week or next week. The next step is called MOI, which is when Kimberlie will get her Haitian passport.
Kimberlie has had
an excellent month this April. Although
she was once again unwilling to cooperate for photo day, she seems to be a
happy and relaxed girl most of the time outside of photos. She does have a tendency to get fussy and
have fits when she does not get her way.
I think her difficulty with photos is because she is simply being
stubborn and does not want to do what is being asked of her at the time. I snapped some various sweet photos of her in
her Easter dress when she was on the balcony while other kiddos were getting
their photos taken. She especially
enjoyed looking into the mirror to check out the beautiful dress she was
wearing. Kimberlie’s biggest smiles
come about when she is in the jolly jumper on the balcony or when she is
reading the books and photo book that you sent.
She loves to listen to her recordable book and will page through it 2-3
times when she has it in hand. She also
continues to enjoy time spent rocking and cuddling with her volunteer as well
as having a snack in the afternoon when she is playing on the balcony.
Kimberlie is
healthy and growing:
Height: 84 cmWeight: 26 lb 4.5 oz
wow, can I just say how very blessed you are to receive email updates on Kimberlie....and even pictures. I can't imagine. our orphanage doesn't have an internet connection and the director speaks very little English. Kimberlie is a beautiful girl and I'm truly looking forward to seeing pictures of you bringing her home :-)
